Anna










        Dr. Anna F. Michael


Dr. Anna F. Michael graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and a Masters of Public Health. She joined the team at Countryside in October of this year and she is excited to meet all the long-term and new pet owners that come to our clinic. Dr. Anna has a commitment to patient care, client communication and education.  She loves to teach and feels that good client education serves as a foundation for an excellent standard of practice here at Countryside. As a veterinarian, Dr. Anna has a particular interest in preventative medicine and long-term health of her patients, thus she particularly enjoys dentistry, nutrition and behavioral veterinary medicine.  Dr. Anna also strongly believes in the importance of veterinarians giving back to the community and she is looking forward to getting involved with the Countryside community by hosting free client education seminars and children's animal welfare and dog bite prevention workshops.  
               
During her time as a student at the University of Minnesota veterinary school Dr. Anna became very active as a leader in organized veterinary medicine where she held the position of President of the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association (SCAVMA). She also organized and participated in many international and domestic veterinary service trips in places like rural Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Native American reservations in the Midwest and South West. During these trips Dr. Anna has helped provide veterinary care such as spaying, neutering, giving vaccinations and mending wounds for pets and livestock that would not receive care otherwise.  Dr. Anna is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition and the American Veterinary Dental Society. In her spare time Dr. Anna enjoy's gardening, outdoor sports and recreation, playing saxophone and spending time at home with her family including her partner Wes and her two cats Bailey and Juniper.

               Dr. Ashley Ng

Dr. Ashley Ng (pronouced "Ing") recently joined the staff at Countryside and we are so happy to have her here!  She is very excited to start building relationships with clients and their pets. She is committed to practicing high quality medicine and providing compassionate care for her patients and their owners. Dr. Ng is originally from a small city in Vermont, where she grew up around animals and was an active member in 4-H. She wanted to become a veterinarian since she was 7 years old!  She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2003 with a degree in animal science, and then moved to Minnesota for her veterinary education.  She attended the University of Minnesota and obtained her doctor of veterinary medicine degree in 2008.
               
Dr. Ng stresses the importance of client education, and encourages her clients to get involved and be proactive in carrying out the treatment plan for their pets. Dr. Ng has a special interest in dermatology and behavior, as well as pocket pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, etc.). She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA), and the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). In her free time, Dr. Ng volunteers at the Animal Humane Society in Woodbury, MN. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, horseback riding, camping, and downhill skiing. Dr. Ng shares her home with her husband, as well as two cats and a (somewhat spoiled) small dog.
 


Adriane



   







Dr. Adriane Rothe


Dr. Adriane is a Minnesota native, growing up near Como Lake in St. Paul before moving to Roseville. She graduated from the College of St. Catherine in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota.She joined the Countryside team in February and is excited to begin working with clients to develop personalized care plans for each pet.

 Dr. Adriane has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, nutrition, and dentistry. She believes in the importance of building relationships with clients and working together as a team to provide the best possible care for their pet. Dr. Adriane is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA). She enjoys spending time with her family, catching up on the latest music and movies, and going to hip hop aerobics at her local gym.




Tricia

Tricia, Certified Vet Tech

 

Tricia is our senior certified veterinary technician (CVT). She is highly skilled and has worked in a variety of veterinary settings.  She is an integral part of the Countryside staff!  

Tricia grew up in central MN. She knew she wanted to have a career that involved both animals and people s
ince she began volunteering at the local animal shelter at age twelve.She graduated in 1999 from Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN with an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology and became a certified veterinary Technician in 2000. Since then, she has worked with a variety of animals - Large, Small, and Exotic or pocket pets (birds, hedgehogs, hamsters, etc.)

Tricia is especially interested in education, obedience and exotic pets. Tricia is looking forward to beginning puppy and obedience classes at Countryside. Tricia is an active member in both MAVT (MN Association of Veterinary Technicians) and NAVTA (National Association). In her spare time, Tricia enjoys scrap booking, crocheting, gardening, fishing, camping and spending time with her family - Husband Joe, 3 kids - Mitchell, Nathan and Isabelle, cat Brutis and Beagle Daisy May.

Annie

Annie, Certified Vet Tech

 

Annie is a certified veterinary technician (CVT), who recently joined our team at Countryside. She has extensive experience in veterinary specialty practices and she has many years of experience in veterinary anesthesia. She is always focused on keeping your pet comfortable and safe during any anesthetic procedure such as dentistry, spay , neuter or mass removals.

Dawn

Dawn, Certified Vet Tech

 

Dawn is a certified veterinary technician (CVT), she recently joined our team at Countryside.  She completed her technician training at Argosy University with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. Dawn has a commitment to client communication and education. Her goal is to help pet owners make informed decisions for the care of their pets; that is the reason she returned to school to complete a veterinary technician degree as a second career.  
Dawn also has extensive interest and skills in dog obedience training and behavior. She works as a dog trainer, helping pet owners forge more fulfilling relationships with their pets. For relaxation, Dawn likes to make jewelry and other crafts, spend time with her husband, two teenage children, and two dogs Molly Grace and MacTavish Noddy. Dawn is a wonderful new addition to our team. We are looking forward to using her dog training skills to start up some classes here at Countryside this spring!

Robin

Robin, Certified Vet Tech

 

Robin is a certified veterinary technician (CVT), she recently joined our team at Countryside. Robin has passion for animals large and small. She managed a throroughbred breeding and training facility for 2 years and volunteered as a trainer for the Minnesota Hooved Animal rescue. She also volunteers her time at Globe College to mentor vet tech students during spay and neuter clinics. Robin is interested in animal behavior and training, animal nutrition, cytology and preventative medicine. She works with the doctors to help develop an individualized nutritional evaluation and plan for your pets best health. Robin is also an excellent resource for questions regarding parasite prevention and mosquito and tick-born disease prevention.  

Robin lives with her boyfriend who runs a family dairy farm in New Prague, MN. They maintain their own hobby farm with their 2 percheron mares, paint gelding, pintabian filly, 4 duroc hogs, 2 beef cows, chocolate lab, a kitten, and various chickens and ducks. In her spare time, Robin likes to compete in rodeo events, watch movies, cook, explore different restaurants and spend time with her boyfriend and family. Robin is a wonderful new addition to our team, we are so glad to have her warm smile and friendly attitude here at Countryside.

Bernie is our outstanding full time receptionist. She holds down the fort and is always there to greet you and your pet with a smile. Bernadine (Bernie) started working at Countryside Veterinarian and Feed in February, 2004. Previously she worked at Waconia Kids Company and the Star Tribune newspaper. She grew up in Chaska and then attended the University of Wisconsin, River Falls.  She has two beautiful children, Shawna and Anton, and lives in Green Isle with her husband, Rodney.

Jeannie is our part time receptionist. Jeannie has been with Countryside since July of 2009. She enjoys spending time with her children Bailey, Allegra and Rosaire, going to movies, and reading. Jeannie also shares her home with the family pets, Ami, a doberman, a great dane named Emma and 3 exotic birds, Gracie, Citrus and Phoenix.

Lyle Braun is our friendly, skilled manager at Countryside Vet and Feed. He is also an esteemed agricultural feed specialist. He considers it a great honor to work at Countryside. We have in stock, or can order, feed for almost any species of animal you have. Lyle enjoys the challenge of finding just the right product for each of our clients. Whatever your animal nutrition needs are, we will take care of you!

Gabby is our spectacular veterinary assistant. She has been working at Countryside since the summer of 2010. She attends Waconia High School and plans to go to college for animal science. Gabby loves the atmosphere at Countryside and she loves having the opportunity to work with animals and their owners. In her free time, Gabby enjoys playing basketball, barrel racing, and hanging out with her friends.  Gabby has a horse, a dog and a turtle.

In Loving Memory of our founder
 

Dr Ralph Molnau founded Countryside on all the right principles.  He made a positive lasting impact on the clinic, the staff, and the surrounding community.  Dr. Molnau passed away in January, 2011, he will be missed but never forgotten.  The Molnau family was excited to see that Dr. Anna was willing to step into Dr. Molnau's shoes and continue to keep Countryside running as the wonderful local veterinary clinic he created long ago.
