In the event of an emergency during our normal business hours please call ahead before proceeding directly to our clinic. There may be some important steps you should take before coming to the clinic.

What should be considered an Emergency?

• Hit by Vehicle

• Difficulty urinating (straining or attempting to urinate without passing urine)

• Bleeding

• Trouble breathing / labored breathing / choking

• Sudden bloating

• Suddenly severe illness (vomiting, diarrhea)

• Convulsions / seizures

• Ingestion of poison (bring product in original container), chocolate, onions, Tylenol, or other known toxins

• Unconsciousness

• Hard labor for over 1 hour, or not producing puppies/kittens when in labor

• Eye problems (redness, inflammation, squinting, increased drainage)

• White, blue, or purple gums
